Ice Diving in Arctic Norway
TIPS, HINTS AND WHAT TO BRING
About 8 weeks prior to departure, we will provide you with an information document. This will give you some background information about the destination, clothing, diving equipment, helpful names and addresses together with some general nice to know sections.
It is strongly recommended that you bring all necessary equipment yourself. Please let us know if you need to hire anything, as this must be ordered in advance. The most important pieces are:
- dry suit
- good thermal clothing (e.g. thinsulate)
- good quality gloves (3 fingers, 5-7mm) or dry gloves
- environmental sealed regulator (first and second stages)
Baggage allowances The standard allowance is 20 kg + 8 kg hand luggage. We are trying to negotiate with the airline to increase the baggage allowances, but this cannot be guaranteed. As always, don't bring more than you have to!
